On ______ the Central Pennsylvania Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) Chapter was converted into the Pennsylvania COncerns of Police Survive (C.O.P.S.) Chapter. The Chapter now covers the entire state of Pennsylvania. chartered on February 20, 2010. At that time, our chapter covered 22 counties in the Central Pennsylvania region. All survivors and co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty are considered members of the C.O.P.S. organization. There are no membership dues as the price paid has already been too costly.

We also offer survivors and co-workers ongoing support, grief counseling for children, scholarships, summer camps and retreats for spouses, parents, siblings, in-laws, and co-workers, with team and self esteem building of the survivors. There is an opportunity to attend trainings sponsored by C.O.P.S. We also offer trial and parole support, such as trained volunteers to attend the trial with the family, assist with victim statements, parole issues and other needs as they arise. In May each year support is also offered during National Police Week events.
